This sends the EVV data to HHAeXchange (for MCOs like Amerihealth, Carolina Complete, WellCare, etc.). HHAeXchange sends the 837 claim file to the appropriate payer.
The following are required in order for EVV Visits to appear on the HHAeXchange import list:
- The Referral must have the correct spelling of patient's first and last name, correct date of birth, MCO Payer, ICD codes (dated on or before the admit date).
- The visits must be recorded as EVV Visits, not manually entered visits on the Visit Entry screen, as they lack EVV data.
Go to: Billing > HIPAA Transactions > HHAeXchange/CareBridge > HHAeXchange File Create

Select the From and Thru dates

Click Select EVV Visits

If errors pop up, save/print the report and fix in EVV Visits

Review visits showing up – fix any issues BEFORE proceeding

Click Prepare the Import File

Click Yes to send now
