Tip:  Always verify, with the patient, that they have given you all their insurance information, as the system may not always be up-to-date.  The best resource for getting “real time” information is the patient.

The Claims Payment Issues Log is a great “go-to spot” for common billing issues. 


Medicare Provider Contact Center:                        1-855-696-0705 (Interactive Voice Response System-IVR)

TIP:  You will need your NPI number, last 5 digits of your Tax I.D. number and PTAN number.  Once you provide this information, you will receive an epass code for the day. 


The Medicare Technology Center can assist you with DDE Log-in issues and assist you with problems/issues with ERA downloads.
