EVV - When GPS Does Not Resolve


What to do when the patient address is not being verified. 

Issues related:
A) The Care Champ user is not able to clock-in because the patient address is not recognized. This is an issue when the user profile is locked to only allow clocking in while at the patient's home.  
B) EVV Visits are getting flagged because the physical address is not resolved (GPS verified as the actual address). Note: This could also be an issue where the aide is actually starting or ending the visit away from the home. 

Sometimes the physical address used on the Referral > Start screen is not a valid address in Google maps or the post office address. 
When this happens, you can add a contact entry with the GPS address location as a contact and use it for verifying. 

  1. Pull up the patient and click on Referrals > Contacts > Add
  2. Add a new contact for the patient's GPS address
  3. Check the box 'Use for EVV Verification' and click on Save.
