EVV - Completing a Missed Visit



If a visiting staff member cannot complete a visit using EVV, an office user can manually mark it as completed. This assigns the visit a CallType: Manual.
  1. Go to Barnestorm Office > EVV Visits. Go to the date of the missed visit and select the visit entry. 

    • Note: The visit date cannot be changed.
  2. Click Complete. This updates the visit times to match the scheduled times and changes the status to Completed.

  3. Adjust Times (If Needed). Click Edit, update the time, then click Update Visit.

    • If no changes are needed, you're done!

Important Notes

  • Once completed, the visit will sync to Care Champ to prevent duplicates or missing data.
  • The Complete button only activates 48 hours after the scheduled date, ensuring EVV compliance before changes are made. Clicking too soon may affect accuracy and compliance levels.
