"A new User Guide has been developed to assist with filing secondary claims to NCTracks. No paper submission is required - secondary claims can be billed electronically to NCTracks, either on the portal or as a batch electronic claims transaction. The User Guide can be found here: https://www.nctracks.nc.gov/content/public/providers/claims/secondary-claims.html: "How to Indicate Other Payer Detail or an Override on a Claim in NC Tracks and Batch Submissions."
Barnestorm Tip: Medicaid Secondary claims will need to be submitted using the NC Tracks Portal. There's an option on their claims screen that is unique and does not translate to a claim batch. There are dropdown choices on the Portal Screen that does not exist on the batch claims. The link above has step-by-step instructions on how to enter Medicaid Secondary Claims.
