This report shows the number of patients discharged, by primary ICD category.

How to Run the Report

From Barnestorm Office click on Reports > Agency Data > 09.29 Discharge Summary by Admission Primary ICD Category.  This report will display visits ordered by employee name/patient name. 

1. From/Thru Date = Enter your date range for discharged patients.

2. Program/Payer = Enter specific program(s), payer(s) or leave blank to select all.

3. PDGM Details = The data will be grouped by PDGM details.

4. ICD Summary Groups = The data will be grouped by ICD Group.

How to Read the Report

1. ICD Codes = The ICD group or ICD PDGM detail, dependent on your selection above.

2. Description = Description will be based on your selection of PDGM Details or ICD Summary Group.

3. Undupe # Pts = The total patient count, unduplicated. Regardless of number of admissions, during your selected From/Thru date, the patient will only be counted once.

4. # of Pts = The total number of patients for the item/code listed.

5. (01-30) = The number of patients during this length of stay in days 1-30.

6. (31-60)= The number of patients during this length of stay in days 31-60.

7. (61-90) = The number of patients during this length of stay in days 61-90.

8. (91-120) = The number of patients during this length of stay in days 91-120.

9. (121-180) = The number of patients during this length of stay in days 121-180.

10. (181-365) = The number of patients during this length of stay in days 181-365.

11. (365+) = The number of patients during this length of stay in days greater than 365.

NOTE:  This report only includes patients discharged during the selected date range who also had at least one chargeable visit during that same date range.
