Lock Assessments when 100% Complete

Note: This feature may need turned on by an admin user in your office.  This can be done from the Global Settings> POC > 0769 True.

This feature will require POC users to review each screen under the Required section of a note before allowing them to lock the assessment.  Your options will be to either enter the assessment information or check a box “No Status Changes”.  Once the No Status Changes box has been selected, the screen will be deactivated and no changes can be made unless the box is unchecked.

The No Status Change can show up on the printed note or it can be taken off.  Barnestorm Office > Codes > Security > Global Settings > POC > 0768; True will show the phrase No Status Change under the category it was checked, False will not show that phrase or the category.

A status bar will show up under the Required menu list.  This tells you the status of completed screens before the visit can be locked. The last step before locking the assessment will be setting the date/timeout from the Finish screen.  The Lock button will not be active to click on unless the Visit Completed status shows up in the status bar.

Some screens only require you to at least click on the tab to review the information.  A good example of this would be the Pt Contact Info screen.

Below are some rules for select screens:

Wound Assess If the patient does not have a history of any wounds then the screen will turn green as soon as you click on the tab.If the patient does have existing wounds then an assessment will be needed in order to mark the screen as completed (green check mark).

Care Plan If the patient does not yet have a care plan established then the tab will default to green.  If a care plan has been added then it will require an assessment in order to mark the screen as completed.

Review Meds If the patient does not have a medication history then the tab will default to green when you select it.
