Possible emergency preparedness option for creating and sending claims in the event of internet outage.  

• The machine you use must have an option to connect to a cell access point for internet connection. This could be an internet connection from home or a hot spot from a cell phone.  It is ideal to test this step ahead of time to ensure a connection. 
• Start a chat from the machine you are using to create the claims.  We will need to setup special folders before you can generate them.
• You will then be able to create your claims and transmit like normal.  Keep in mind the process may take longer if the internet connection is slower.
• After your network/internet is back to normal you can start another chat from the same machine so that we can change your folders back to normal; and we will copy the files over to the regular folders. 

Possible Issues

If you have issues sending claims through NC Tracks, check with them to see if they are down.

If you use Ability to upload Medicare claims, contact them to find out how to use a laptop that does not have their security certificate installed.
