To help accommodate some of the 2018 CoP updates we have added some features to Box 21 Orders of the 485.  The following can be found from the Main Menu 485.

Pull Homebound Data: Pulls the most recent assessment information from the Homebound screen. The newest update for this feature is that it no longer requires the “Patient is Homebound” box to be checked in order to pull information onto the 485. It will simply pull the most recent assessment information.

Pull Emergency Plan: Pulls all information documented on the Emergency Plan screen, including the emergency contact information, LACE Scoring Tool, and the advance directives / resuscitate status.

Pull Psychosocial Data: Pulls the most recent assessment information from the Psychosocial screen.

Pull Cognitive Data: Pulls the most recent complete assessment information from the Cognitive screen (formerly Mental tab).

Pull Patient Education and Training:  Pulls all entries from the Teaching screen for the current episode.  For recerts it will also pull the 5 day OASIS data collection period before the episode From date.

Keep in mind you can delete any information that is pulled from the above feature. 

Admin Use Only:

We do offer a global setting to pull select information based on timing. Global Setting 0183 has three options to pull the above information into box 21 of the Orders/Goals.

1 Pull SOC/ROC first (this is for the Start of Care and Recertification (during 5 day recert window)  

2 Pull most recent entry

3 Pull all entries for period, includes 5 days before From Date
