07.08 Infection Tracking


This report works with the Infections screen from Barnestorm Office > Patient Histories > Infection or Point of Care > Infections.  View patient infections by summary or by detail. 

How to Run the Report

From and Thru = Pulls from the infection's assessed date.
Program(s)  = Filter report by entering program number(s). Or leave blank to select all.

Totals by Month = Shows counts for each month.  Counts include old and new infections; unresolved and resolved within each month selected in the From and Thru dates.
Totals by Infection = Breaks the counts down by infection type.  Each infection is counted once; it does not count each assessment. 
Totals by Location = Breaks the counts down by location.  Each infection is counted once; it does not count each assessment. 

Detail by Patient, Date, or Infection

New Infections = Shows each infection assessment that was acquired within the from and thru date.
All Infections = Shows each infection assessment, including resolved. 
Resolved Infections = Only shows the assess infections marked as resolved during the from and thru date.
Unresolved Infections = Shows each unresolved infection assessment during the from and thru dates. 

How to Read the Report

Summary = The summary report shows the count of infections for old (acquired before the from date of the report), New (acquired between the from and thru dates), if the infection was present during or after start of care, unresolved and resolved between the from and thru dates. 
Detail = Shows the patient information, including the infection number, type, date acquired, status and follow up date. These reports will have the summary of total assessments, total infections, number of old and new, number of resolved and unresolved.
