Reports > OASIS > 13.51 Missing HIPPS Code
Run this report regularly to ensure the OASIS records generate a HIPPS code. The report uses the "from" and "thru" dates to filter OASIS by sequence date. You can choose to narrow your search by program and payer or leave these fields blank to include all.
This report only includes OASIS without a HIPPS code that meet these criteria:
- The HIPPS code is blank.
- The Reason for Assessment (RFA) is less than 06.
- The primary payer is marked as PPS = Yes (found in Codes > Program Related Codes > Payer Codes).
- M0150 is not solely marked as 00 (00 plus another answer is acceptable).
Troubleshooting Tips:
If an OASIS appears on this list, check for the following issues:
- The OASIS is not locked, or contains errors—review and correct any issues.
- M0110 is answered as "NA"—this will prevent a HIPPS code from generating.
