Set Vital Signs Parameters for All Patients
Your agency can set the global vital signs parameters for all patients. Your may also set vital signs parameters for individual patients as needed (see the links at the bottom for instructions on how to do that).
To set the vital signs parameters for all patients:
- Click the Codes button from the main menu.
- Click Security at the top.
- Select Global Settings.
- Open the POC category.
- Find item number 0710: Default value for vital signs. Click in the right side panel of that item. A button will appear to the right with ... on it. Click that button.
- A window will pop up with all vital signs parameters. Change as needed and close the window when done.
- The changes save automatically.
The process to change the vital signs parameters for an individual patient is different depending whether you are using POC or Office.
