You may use the Acuity field on the first screen of the Referral page to track a patient's hospice cap status.
The list below shows what the codes in the Acuity field indicate--fill them in as appriate for each patient.
1 - counts toward cap
2 - count as partial (patient stopped and then came back to hospice)
3 - used 180 days, but will take as a patient anyway
The cap is 180 days of per-diem payments, given per agency.
Once you have completed the acuity field indicators for each hospice patient, you may use the following report: Reports (New) > Hospice > 19.05 Hospice Medicare CAP.
