• Displays totals to show if updates are needed.
• Removes codes with an expired date on or before 1/1/2016.

• Imports new codes, removes outdated ones, and updates existing codes to match CMS's latest release.
• Manual changes such as a Thru Date may be overwritten to reflect CMS data.

• Use the search field to look up codes by either Code or Description.
• Click Search to view matching HCPCS codes and select from the list.

• Job Code Determines the HCPCS

  • Each discipline/service type (e.g., SN, PT) has a unique Job Code.
  • The HCPCS field in the Job Code is what carries over to claims.
  • Job Codes are assigned to Schedules, Visits Assessments, EVV Visits, Manually keyed visits.
  • If the wrong HCPCS appears on a claim, start here to verify setup.
• Multiple HCPCS for One Service
  • Some disciplines may have different HCPCS codes for different payers.
  • Create separate Job Codes when needed.
